Mieczyslaw M. Kokar, Ph.D., President
Mieczyslaw “Mitch” M. Kokar is a world-renowned expert
in information fusion, ontology-based modeling, formal reasoning,
software engineering,
machine learning and the application of these disciplines to the
areas of the semantic web, situation awareness and adaptable software.
He is the author of over one hundred papers in scientific journals,
chapters in books and conference proceedings. He is a professor
in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Northeastern
University. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Information
Fusion journal, senior member of the IEEE and member of the ACM.

Brian Ulicny, Ph.D., Chief
Scientist
Brian Ulicny has over fifteen years of experience in applied
research at the intersection of computational linguistics,
formal semantics, machine learning, and information retrieval/extraction.
He has held R&D positions at Lycos, Ask Jeeves, Lernout & Hauspie, Inso,
and Quarterdeck Corporation. He has frequently presented at industrial
and academic seminars and conferences and holds two US patents.
He completed his Ph.D. at MIT's Department of Linguistics and Philosophy in 1993.
Kenneth Baclawski, Ph.D.,
Senior Scientist
Kenneth Baclawski is expert in the area of ontology-based computing,
including such topics as the Semantic Web, formal (ontology-based)
methods for software engineering and software modeling, ontology-based
methods in bioinformatics, and high-performance semantically rich
information retrieval. He holds eight patents and has authored over
60 professional articles. Dr. Baclawski is an Associate Professor
in the College of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern
University and is affiliated with the Harvard Medical School. For

Jerzy Letkowski, Ph.D., Principal
Consultant
Jerzy Letkowski is a professor of Management and Information Sciences
in the School of Business at Western New England College. His areas
of expertise include object-oriented programming, data modeling
and database management, Web design and programming as well as management
science. He has authored or co-authored over 25 teaching and research
