JC3IEDM OWL Ontology

The JC3IEDM OWL Ontology in this directory was automatically 
generated from the ERWIN XML definition of the data model 
(JC3IEDM-MODEL-UK-DMWG-Draft_3.0_2005-11-22.xml) and the XML 
schema file that defines the JC3IEDM codes (JC3IEDMCodes.xsd).
Both of these source files were obtained from the MIP web site at
http://mip-site.org/publicsite/04-Baseline_3.0/JC3IEDM-Joint_C3_Information_Exchange_Data_Model

The file JC3IEDM.owl contains the entire JC3IEDM OWL Ontology.

The file JC3IEDM-Base.owl obtains the same JC3IEDM OWL ontology 
by importing four files, one containing the Attributeas 
(JC3IEDM-Attributes.owl), one contianing the Entities 
(JC3IEDM-Entities.owl), one containing the domain Codes 
(JC3IEDM-CodeClasses.owl) and one containing the Relations 
(JC3IEDM-Relations.owl).

The consistancy of the JC3IEDM.owl ontology was checked with
VIStology's ConVISor application.
